“You think about people around the world and their cultures. You can’t become internationally minded in just one lesson: you have to learn through your whole life.” - Fatima, Year 6 Grazebrook student.
This was Creative Opportunities' very first project! We invited children from Grazebrook primary school in Hackney to creatively explore the idea of International Mindedness and how people relate to their environment. Taking inspiration from artist Ed Fairburn’s Human Geography series the participants created their own artworks, reflecting each child’s personal thoughts and feelings of International Mindedness. The project culminated in an installation at the school celebrating diversity.
